            Prepare the filling:

             Heat oil in a large pan. Sauté the onion until soft, then add garlic and cook for 1 minute.

             for the topping. Add mashed bread to the meat.

            Stir in curry powder, turmeric, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, chutney, jam, vinegar, sugar, raisins, and apple (if using). Season with salt and pepper.
